Creative Binge is a new online portfolio & social networking site for artists, illustrators, designers and all you other creative types. The talk of social networking for the community site sounds like a great idea.
The website has a clean and classy design and interface, and a very easy to use upload feature for adding your artwork to the free portfolio with your account.
The Forums have recently been opened, and the creator has blogged about many new goodies in the pipeline. Should be a cool site to keep tabs on.
A brief description from the About page:
Seeing a gap in the online portfolio market, Creative Binge was created in 2007 to offer a simple way for creative people to share their work with others and get found by potential clients. With a strong focus on showcasing great work, Creative Binge also has plans to offer a unique method for competing in design competitions, friend networks and job board functions.
Most recently a Forum section has been added, but to date there traffic there seems quite low. Still, it’s a new site and I am sure this is to grow as Creative Binge develops.
