MAD Magazine cartoonist Al Jaffee Featured In New York Times

Alfred E. NewmanÜber long-time contributing artist most famously known for his “fold-ins” on the back cover of each issue of MAD, Al Jaffee has a feature article over at the New York Times, along with a special feature on the “fold-ins” themselves.

The fold-in started life as a parody on Playboy’s centerfold fold-outs. Jaffee pitched it to MAD, expecting the worst. I can’t even imagine MAD Magazine without them.
