Tip: Save Photoshop Files Faster

Rob Griffiths, over at MacWorld (and the excellent Mac OSX Hints) has posted a tip on saving Photoshop files faster. The basic gist is to turn off icon previews, and he has some workarounds for not having to permanently set this as a default preference.

I don’t run into this often as I am primarily a vector guy, but I do find myself more and more sketching directly into Photoshop on top of scanned rough sketches with my Wacom graphics tablet, and any productivity tip that gets me into Illustrator quicker is more than welcome.

I do have to admit that I have been getting kinda hooked on grayscale sketching & drawing with Photoshop’s Brush tool now that I have found settings that I like that work well with the Wacom tablet.
