Surfboard Logo Library

Found this neat little gallery of surfboard logos via Paul Howalt on Twitter. A huge library of surfboard logos, including multiples of some.

These logos aren’t vector art or anything ready for print (unlike the Brands Of The World vector logo library), just a reference library or perhaps a design inspiration resource.

Seems a high percentage of these are photos of the logos on actual surfboards.

The Animator’s Survival Kit

The Animators Survival Kit instructional DVD set This Animator’s Survival Kit DVD setÂ from Oscar-winning animator Richard Willams looks like a great resource for those animators out there. Personally, I do not have the patience for animation, but it’s fascinating to me.

This DVD set is a companion to Williams’ highly-rated Animator’s Survival Kit book. The site doesn’t seem to indicate if the book is included with the DVD set, but it seems not to be.

Richard Williams was awarded two Oscars for the animation on “Who Framed Roger Rabbit“. He directed and designed Roger Rabbit,Â Jessica Rabbit, Baby Herman and all the new characters for the Walt Disney/Steven Spielberg production.

The set isn’t cheap atÂ Â£634.04 (or about $1,252.42 for us U.S. folks as of the date of this post).

Jumpcut: Free OS X Clipboard History Utility

Jumpcut is a very handyÂ clipboard extender for Mac OS X. What Jumpcut does is remember a user-specified number of text items copied to the clipboard, and allows one to select from them when pasting.

The standard OS X clipboard allows the user to paste only the last-copied item. Jumpcut just keeps track of everything you have copied using the Command (âŒ˜) -C shortcut or the Edit -> Copy menu item.

A hit-or-miss resource I always forget to check, the Adobe ExchangeÂ has a decent amount of downloadable resources for use with just about every piece of software they offer. In particular here I am focusing on Illustrator section of the Exchange.
