The Cartooning Process

So you want an original cartoon created - how does it work?

It's pretty simple. We'll start by discussing your needs via email, phone or instant message. From there I work up some initial sketches for the cartoon art and send them off via email. We go back and forth, tweaking and revising the sketches untill you are 100% happy with the look of the art.

Next I go into the digital inking stage, where the line art (and color if applicable) is added (check out the in-depth tutorial). We then do another round of back and forth to get the art to your complete satisfaction. The final step is to output the art in the formats you need, and then you go on the fame and fortune with a kick-butt original cartoon for your project or business.

Oh - one last thing: I do ask for a 50% deposit before starting, and the balance will be due before delivery of the final art. You'll receive watermarked previews during the creation stages so you know exactly what it looks like before you cough up any dough.
