This digital vector illustration and
design was done completely within Adobe Illustrator. As
a big fan of concert poster art, I was thrilled to have
the opportunity to work on this project. The concept derived
from a sexy pin-up devil girl character I have been developing,
and I thought she would be perfect for the poster, with
the Halloween theme and of course the word Hell right in
the band's name.
I was approached by band member Chris Yohn of Cleveland area Pogues cover band The Boys From the County Hell to develop the design for their annual Halloween concert at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, and was graciously given free reign as far as the concept.
