This t-shirt illustration the recent new owners (at the time) of the Zephyr Pub in Kent, Ohio was based on their establishment's name, the Zephyr. Zephyr means 'northern wind' so the illustration was designed to be a graphically eye catching rendering of an old style 'man in the clouds' woodcut style illustration.

The artwork was drawn and inked entirely by hand, and then scanned into the computer and touched up in Photoshop. The design was created for the Zephyr back when they were still a restaurant, nowadays they are the new hip college bar in Kent, Ohio.
